I've been working with independent romance authors since 2021, so I've got years of genre-specific experience as well as publishing industry recognised fiction-editing training under my belt.
I chose to work with fiction writers because of your creativity, so rest assured I'm not about to bury your style and your characters' voices under a pile of grammar 'rules' (most of which aren't really rules anyway!)
Because I believe that editing isn't me correcting 'errors' but a chance to help you develop as a writer, your manuscript won't be sent back to you with just a load of seemingly random suggested changes and comments saying "this is wrong." I explain my reasoning behind my changes and offer alternatives when a word or sentence isn't quite right.
